Texas Students Win Top California LDZ Posts

A trio of Texas students have won the top posts at the 2016 edition of the California LDZ, which held its Opening Ceremonies today.

​Maya Navar, from Radford School in El Paso, representing the Latinos Unitos party, won the Governor election, while two representatives from the Mejorite party, Tatyana Brown of TAG Magnet High School in Dallas and Jared Casarez from San Antonio’s Johnson High School, won the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House elections respectively.

The Supreme Court for this year’s conference is composed entirely of Texas and Arizona students, including:
